BSc in Biological Science at University of Catania.

There is where the desire of knowledge started to fulfill myself through the study of genetic, biochemistry, microbiology, zoology, botany, physiology and chemistry etc. with not so much laboratory but with a lot of passion to study, waiting for something more intense which I would later find during the Master.
MSc in Molecular and industrial Biotechnology at Alma Mater Studiorum – University of Bologna
 “Where I ended up? “What, this really is Biotechnology? Am I awake?” These were my initial thoughts in the class since I didn’t really understand the biotech approach to biology jet.
“Wait for it Andrea. Maybe it is what you were looking for, it could be an amazing adventure” this were my considerations during the two years of studying this wonderful sector. 
“Did it end so soon? I want more, please” this were the last sentences after my degree.
This interior monologue summarizes this beautiful trip that I had during my MSc through Molecular Biology, Protein engineering, Biocatalysis, Industrial Microbiology etc. An intense trip among see-through solution which inside have an immense cosmos, where the scientific method, like a torch in the dark, marks one of the multiple infinite roads that we, as humankind, are following to understand much more the thin tissue of the universe.

Hobbies/interest
Running in the night in high mountains waiting for sunrise eating gummy bears; playing no string-guitar with one hand grabbing last pringles with the other one; video-making of my nature adventures with epic song; cross countries by bike.

What is the most useless talent you have?
Walk barefoot on hot sand and rocks.

Where is the worst smelling place you have been?
A sulphur rich craters in the Etna volcano which reminded me of the smell at the time I was in the changing room of a pool during my childhood.

What ridiculous thing has someone tricked you into doing or believing?
When for job I had to walk all around the city of Catania dressed as an astronaut. (see picture below)
